What XAP Books is designed to do

  • Work from your original records, such as receipts, invoices and statements, rather than relying on what was keyed in months ago.
  • Code every transaction consistently, and ask you about anything unclear while you still remember what it was.
  • Learn how your business works, so the books reflect how you actually run it. This is designed, and still under development.
  • Work on top of Xero first, then QuickBooks Online and MYOB, with a guided set-up. Nothing has to be migrated.
  • In beta, XAP Books is designed to ask before it changes anything, and to write back to your accounting software only after you approve.
  • Use your Xero data only to do the work, never to train AI models.

How it starts, and where it may go

On top of your current software

Most businesses already keep their books in a cloud accounting system. XAP Books is designed to work alongside it, starting with Xero, then QuickBooks Online and MYOB. Your current software stays your system of record, and you keep your current workflow. These are our intentions, not commitments.

As your ledger, if you want it

XAP Books is also designed to be the ledger itself. If you would rather start there, it is designed to support that. Whether you move across, and when, is your choice.

What we are not promising

We have not announced a price, and joining the Waitlist does not commit you to anything. We will not tell you XAP Books is ready until it is.

Works alongside your advisor

XAP is designed to work alongside your advisor. Cleaner, more current books give your accountant or bookkeeper better material to work with.

About your data

We will publish a full account of how XAP Books stores and protects your records before XAP Books opens to the public, and we will not ask you to move anything before then.
