The Belief

We believe SMEs deserve the same strategic thinking that large enterprises take for granted, without the price tag or the complexity that puts it out of reach.

There are roughly 160 million small and medium enterprises in the world, and almost none of them can afford a fractional CFO, let alone a management consultant. Every SME owner eventually hits the same wall: the business has outgrown gut instinct, but it hasn’t grown into the budget of a real strategic advisor. Consulting firms price for enterprises with seven-figure budgets. The owner is left choosing between advice they can’t afford and no advice at all.

Generic AI chat tools were supposed to close that gap. They haven’t. A general-purpose model knows a great deal about business in the abstract and almost nothing about the business in front of it. No memory of last quarter’s cash position. No sense of the owner’s risk tolerance. No accountability for the advice it gives. It’s a research assistant, not an advisor.

The Second Gap: Scale

Affordability is only half of the problem. The other half is growth. Fewer than 5% of businesses ever pass $1 million in revenue, and fewer than 1% pass $10 million.
